Recherche
Research is one of the pillars of the Institut d'Optique Graduate School.
This research, at the best international level, aims to cover all the fields in optics and photonics, from the most fundamental to the most applied, from atomic optics to biophotonics, from quantum information to nanophotonics.
The Institute of Optics Graduate School is the authority in charge of three laboratories:
- Laboratoire Charles Fabry, on the Paris-Saclay campus
- Laboratoire photonique numérique et nanosciences - LP2N (Photonic, Digital and Nanosciences Laboratory) on the Bordeaux campus
- Laboratoire Hubert Curien laboratory on the Saint-Etienne campus.
These three laboratories are research units attached to the CNRS and in close collaboration with the major local universities.
Researchers at the Institut d'Optique Graduate School publish an average of one international scientific article per day and are cited 30 times daily.
