Doubles diplômes

The Institut d'Optique has entered into numerous agreements to promote further training and cultivate open-mindedness:

 

The "Grande Ecole" double degrees:

  • HEC Paris: 1st year and 2nd year at the Institut d'Optique, 2nd year at HEC, 3rd year at the Institut d'Optique, 3rd year at HEC;
  • HEC Paris MBA: easy access to the HEC MBA (half of the courses are dispensed with) for Institut d'Optique FIE graduates;
  • Science Po Paris: 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year at the Institut d'Optique then 2 years at Sciences Po with simplified access;
  • ESPCI Paris: 1st year and 2nd year at SupOptique then 18 months at ESPCI.
  • Science Po Paris: 1st year, 2nd year, 3rd year at the Institut d'Optique then 2 years at Sciences Po with simplified access;

 

The double university degrees in France:

  • Licences, in parallel with the 1st year: L3 Fundamental Physics, L3 Fundamental Mathematics and Applications (University Paris Sud);
  • Masters, in parallel with the 2nd and 3rd years: M1 Optics - Image - Vision - Multimedia (Jean Monnet University), M1 Light Science and Technologies (University of Bordeaux), M1 Fundamental Physics (University of Paris Sud) and 14 M2 courses;
  • University Diploma in Advanced Biomedical Training (IFSBM, University of Paris Sud), integrated into the SupOptique engineering program as a biomedical program.

With the Paris-Saclay University:

  • L3 - M1 Fundamental Physics (in collaboration with the magister of fundamental physics of the University Paris-Sud)

The double degrees internationally:

In the case of a double degree at a foreign university, the third year is replaced by a period of at least 18 months at a partner university and is validated by the award of the master's degree from that university.

The destinations are Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom (including Imperial College and Cambridge), Switzerland (including EPFL and ETH), Russia, the USA, Canada, Brazil and China.
