It is possible to work with engineering students from Institut d'Optique Graduate School other than through internships/work experience and apprenticeships.

Opto Services, the junior enterprise managed by students of SupOptique, offers technical expertise in the fields of optics, electronics and computing in the form of studies conducted by the students themselves at very competitive rates made possible by its special tax status. Opto Services also translates scientific documents and offers literature research and business plan services.

It offers its services to institutions, private individuals, companies, SMBs and major corporations, and is run like an engineering and design firm. Institut d'Optique Graduate School graciously provides it with interferometers, optical tables, software and other state-of-the-art equipment used in the school's laboratories. The students work on their projects during their spare time.

The Junior Enterprise offers free estimates that detail the cost and duration of each phase of the study.
