"Off the shelf" training

Our Continuing Education Department provides a catalogue of open training courses that can be taught "off the shelf" or tailored to your exact requirements. It can also create training courses specifically for your company.

The main advantage of open training is that course programmes can be tailored to the needs of participants from the same company at a reasonable cost.

Aims and teaching methods

Both are defined with the company:
• Skills enhancement, skills acquisition, and retraining based on the participants' levels and expectations.
• Teaching methods: courses, tutorials, practical work with equipment at the school or company.

Location and duration

Training courses are held at Institut d’Optique Graduate School or at your location.

The courses can last from as little as one day to as many as several months. Their durations are determined and suggested based on the objectives and levels of the participants.
